In Holland it is common to celebrate Sinterklaas on December 5th. Older children and adults make surprises for each other. In it there is at least one present, sometimes fake presents or just a hint where the present is hidden in the house. This year my daughter is old enough to celebrate it this way. We made a birthdaycake with my favourite stamps. We chose tildas who looked liked they were dancing. The child she made it for likes to dance.
The cake itself is made out of a cardstock base, covered with designpaper of magnolia and wallpaper from pipstudio. we colored tilda with copics. We also used ribbon, lace with elastics, beautiful flowers and flower stickers (she is only 9 years...). We used an edge cutter from Martha stewart for the top. We finished with stickles diamond.
With this magnolia birthday cake we would like to join the following challenges:
Just magnolia anything goes with option sparkle
The dutch magnolia chickies challenge 12: gebruik een pons tot 14 december 18 uur.
It's a magnolia challenge nummer 20, gebruik een pons, meedoen kan tot zaterdag 10 december.
